Two Timer

You never forget your first time. I remember he had taken me to see We Will Rock You, the Queen Musical. I had been tired and didn’t want to think about a late nite. As the show opened the music just got me going, I suddenly felt wide-awake and ready to go have some fun.

He then decided to take me to Studio 54. We met some other Canadians. They seemed to be in the same state of mind we were in. We danced and watched as the two Canadian women started kissing. You would think their dates would be excited to see the girls let loose. No, the two guys dragged the girls apart and we didn’t see either couple again for the rest of the nite.

1 oz melon liqueur
1 oz amber tequila
4 oz grapefruit juice
1 slice lime
1 cherry

Pour melon liqueur, tequila, and grapefruit juice over ice in a highball glass and stir. Add the slice of lime, top with the cherry, and serve.

Just taking time to do your nails should be a nice pampering experience. If you find yourself either alone or with a bunch of girlfriends and need something to do here are some suggestions. These are some of my go tos that keep me cheerful. Keep in mind these are things that my girlfriends and I have all done for a fun evening or for a raining day, they are a guide and you can tailor them to your tastes!

Get your favourite music and sing your heart out, dance but be careful not to dent or smudge your nails!

A few good magazines and a glass of wine, cup of tea or a latte.
