I was taking a shower a few years ago when my 2 year old son came into the bathroom and put my makeup all over his face. Although he made a mess, he looked really cute, so I ran for my camera and took a few shots. They really were cute so I had copies made and included one with each of my Christmas cards. A few days later my aunt called about the picture. She was laughing hysterically, and suggested that I really look at the picture. I stared at the photo and was shocked to discover that in addition to my son, my naked reflection in the mirror was also captured in the photo. My family brings this up every Christmas and laughs at me. I am still mortified by my “cute” picture.

Bailey's Shake
- 1-cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 3/4-cup milk
- Bailey's® Irish cream
Pour all ingredients (bailey's to taste) into a blender and puree for several seconds, or until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Just taking time to do your nails should be a nice pampering experience. If you find yourself either alone or with a bunch of girlfriends and need something to do here are some suggestions. These are some of my go tos that keep me cheerful. Keep in mind these are things that my girlfriends and I have all done for a fun evening or for a raining day, they are a guide and you can tailor them to your tastes!
Get your favourite music and sing your heart out, dance but be careful not to dent or smudge your nails!
