No Bra
After drinking many rums, and trying the Island’s finest pot all night, I crashed at 4:20am. I got up at 7 that morning and still hammered my way to the beach to get some Jamaican sunshine. I wanted to sleep off my hangover until I could get another rum punch.
I stayed at a Bed and Breakfast called The Fire Fly. It’s up the hill across from Ricks café. It’s quite a journey to the white beach of Negril, but I have always favored this nice little place owned by fellow Canucks.
I took my scooter to the beach. Walked to a chaise under an almond tree. I didn’t want to burn in my sleep. Time seemed to stand still, until I was awoken by this load, annoying noise. A bus had pulled up. I eyed a chaise nearer to the water, and decided to grab it.
The noise got louder, and louder. There must have been about 20 of them by the sound they were making.
I lifted up my sore skull and turned around to see if the group was on the beach yet. Not yet, I could still keep my eyes closed.
I kept my eyes closed and tried to enjoy the sun. I hoped that this wild bunch of people would keep the noise down.
I opened my eyes when I heard a woman talking to me.
OMFG! I immediately focused on the gray/white hairs of a 80yr old woman's bush. AHHGHHHHH! What the hell.
Her friends and her were taking a glass bottom boat tour and wondered if I would watch their things.
I picked my painful head up and look to see how much responsibility I was taking on. Unfortunatly what I saw was 15 geezers ripping their clothes off walking up the beach and laughing like they were 20.
I said yes just to get them on the boat and away from me faster.
So, off they went. Dangling boobs, swinging balls, gray hair, white hair… all went off to the glass bottom boat.

Buttered Toffee
- 1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
- 1 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
- 1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
- 3 oz half-and-half cream
- Ice cubes
Pour amaretto, Irish cream, and Kahlua over ice cubes. Add half-and-half, and stir well.

Just taking time to do your nails should be a nice pampering experience. If you find yourself either alone or with a bunch of girlfriends and need something to do here are some suggestions. These are some of my go tos that keep me cheerful. Keep in mind these are things that my girlfriends and I have all done for a fun evening or for a raining day, they are a guide and you can tailor them to your tastes!
Get your favourite music and sing your heart out, dance but be careful not to dent or smudge your nails!
