I Like It On Top
...So as the limo was surrounded by California's finest police force. I was freaked out and wondered what we did wrong? Did I buy sunglasses from a street kid that stole them from a celebrity? The police went up tot he driver and told them they are there for crowd control in case the occupant needed protection. WHAT? OMFG, they think I am a celebrity.
My friend looks across the car and glares at me with evil eyes. I am smiling like a Cheshire cat wearing these Fab sunglasses. Ha.
My Driver gets out and walks around the car to let us out.
My friend, being a large man similar to a football player gets out first. The crowd moves to the side. I then casually, with great air step out of the car looking right, then left so that they can see my amazing sunglasses.
I move forward and like Moses parted the the Dead Sea, I begin my walk to the entrance of the Chinese theatre. Stopping first to place my hands on the celebrities hand prints. Oh look, there is Charlton Heston. How appropo! We continue to walk, undisturbed by fans. Under the breathe of whispers they are desperately trying to identify who I am. Cause, clearly I look like one. How nice to be able not to wait in a line to place your hands on the walk of fame.
We continue to move up to the entrance. Just missing the red carpet. I go in and look around. Buy a Oscar. And a photo of my favorite soup stars. Malcolm and Paul Williams from the Y&R for my Mother.
We leave. ME! Holding(like I deserve it now) my Oscar close and bee line to the car where my driver stood until I was 3 ft away and opened the door. Ahhh, what a day!
