Filthy Madame

A couple of girlfriends and I get together for a weekend each year. I live in the central location so the others head to my house on the chosen weekend. This is no small feat to find a free weekend between friends!  

My husband, A.K.A. Cabana Boy has a job – primarily to keep us happy and plied with drinks - a job he takes seriously. (smart man!) He makes before dinner cocktails, then he pairs wine with the meal we prepare as a group at home. (no sense having to worry about driving!), then he makes us a fabulous après dinner drink while we soak in the hot tub under the stars.  

All the while we are laughing and giggling, telling stories, sharing memories, about anything and everything.  Last year, Cabana boy did too good of a job with the drinks. Our friend Betty had one to many cocktails and rolled down the steps from the tub to the grass. While she was doing her roll,  she booted one of Cabana Boy's new Riedel wine glasses!

Luckily an overgrown bush (thank goodness my gardening time is limited!) caught the glass and protected it from smashing on the rocks around the flowerbed.  We didn’t find the glass until the next day.  Betty was unscathed, except for a rather large bruise on her bottom and being covered with grass clippings. She looked like she had sprouted green hair all over her body. (dirty girl!) We couldn’t stop laughing. Yes it was a silly fun evening. Just add your best girlfriends, an extremely cute cabana boy and a little too much liquor and you too could have a wonderful time!

Sounds like a perfect Cheeky Monkey time to me!
