Damn I'm Hot
So this was New Years Eve 2002 in Canada’s favorite party city. Montreal.
Dressed to the Nine’s in black and Grey, with a nice crisp white shirt under my black cashmere sweater. I walked into a bar holding my husband’s hand.
My husband and I have travelled many places around the world and enjoy the nightlife in all the major cities. So, hitting a nightclub as a married couple is not unusual or awkward.
My husband is the typical wallflower. You know the guy standing with his back against the wall, one foot up resting on the wall and beer in his hand. He just likes the scenery. No dancing, no chatting, No mingling. I, on the other hand, am a social butterfly.
At the bar, I start chatting with the man beside me; I notice the looks I was getting. My diamond tennis bracelet was shining like crazy drawing much more attention from the hot French men.
It didn’t bother my husband at all. He actually thinks I am the hottest thing ever to walk the face of the earth. I don’t agree, but it is nice he says that.
After cutting a rug on the dance floor for about an hour, I have been approached by several guys. One in particular walked beside me, turned and in French started to chat away. I stop him to say I didn’t speak French. In English he said I had it all figured out. He told me that I looked absolutely stunning. He grabbed my hand and lifted it up to his lips and gently kissed my hand. An electric shock went through my arm, right up to my neck where all the hairs on my person stood up in ecstasy. My right hand fell and my diamond bracelet moved to his lips. As he looked up at me with his lips on my wrist he smiled with his dark bedroom eyes. Thick black hair falling onto his forehead and dangling over the fine eyebrows of this chiseled face, my heart skipped a beat.
He lowered my hand. Leaned toward me and very gently touched my ear with the same lips that have just left my hand and said. “Your husband is a very lucky man.”
With that, he walked away and left me standing in awe. I honestly felt like I had been seduced. Feeling on top of the world and lightheaded. My hand was still tingling as I walked over to my wallflower. He said he had watched what had just happened and if he only knew how to be like that he would have done same thing.
That night and into the New Year, I was a glow and felt so amazing and beautiful. Damn I am hot!
Happy New Year!
