Come Hither
My date decided we should head over to Coyote Ugly and see how the party was over there. I ended up dancing on the bar! It was fun, and I must say I drank a bit too much.
I looked at my watch and could hardly believe it was 3am. I had to go back to the hotel room, I had hit a wall.
We walked back to the Hotel and noticed two couples debating what they should do next, the women wanted to go to a dance club and the guys wanted to grab something to eat.
I walked up to them and told the guys that they should do whatever the ladies wanted to do. One of the men said we should go with them. So we did. We all piled into a limo and went to a karaoke bar.
We found out one of the men owned a casino in California, the other man was his bodyguard, one of the women was a talent agent and the last woman was a model. It was a really bizarre group.
The casino owner was all over me like a wet shirt. My date was secure enough in himself to know I had no interest in the other man. I let the casino owner know we could flirt but that was my limit. He seemed good with that.

- 1 oz amber tequila
- 1 1/2 oz orange juice
- 1 oz berry vodka
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker 1/4 to 1/2 filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, top with a couple of grapes and serve.

Just taking time to do your nails should be a nice pampering experience. If you find yourself either alone or with a bunch of girlfriends and need something to do here are some suggestions. These are some of my go tos that keep me cheerful. Keep in mind these are things that my girlfriends and I have all done for a fun evening or for a raining day, they are a guide and you can tailor them to your tastes!
Get your favourite music and sing your heart out, dance but be careful not to dent or smudge your nails!
A few good magazines and a glass of wine, cup of tea or a latte.
