Our next stop was to go to a gentlemen’s club. Ok, I’d like to think I’m pretty liberal, but I was really nervous, even scared, to go in. We got to the club and got shown to a booth. I guess the casino owner knew everyone at this establishment.
The next thing I knew I was getting a lap dance. I was screaming and laughing out of sheer terror, the stripper was even laughing. Everyone we were with couldn’t stop laughing. It was not the erotic experience you would think it would be, it seemed to have turned into a comedy club just because of my reaction.
Anyway, by 6am, I really was tired. My date and I took the limo back to our hotel. We couldn’t believe what an awesome nite we had just had. It could have turned into an episode of CSI, but no, my husband’s and my first nite in Las Vegas really was one of the best nites!

Raspberry fallen Angel
- 1 ½ oz Raspberry Vodka
- 1 ½ oz Chambord Liquor
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz pomegranate juice
In a Martini shaker, shake all ingredients with ice until nice and cold. Pour into a martini glass and enjoy.

Just taking time to do your nails should be a nice pampering experience. If you find yourself either alone or with a bunch of girlfriends and need something to do here are some suggestions. These are some of my go tos that keep me cheerful. Keep in mind these are things that my girlfriends and I have all done for a fun evening or for a raining day, they are a guide and you can tailor them to your tastes!
Get your favourite music and sing your heart out, dance but be careful not to dent or smudge your nails!
