We are an Environmentally responsible company in our operations and our products. All our products are non-toxic and 3 Free (TFF & DBP Free: do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or DBP – Dibutyl Phthalate).

Manufacturing Practices “Value, Quality, Colours, Design”
Our quality and heritage in manufacturing has lasted over 20 years. Our quality assurance procedures, experience, values and personality help assure that you get the best product possible for the price. Our design and inspiration comes from Canada. All our products are quality manufactured in the United States and our onsite lab has created over 600 colors, using the highest quality base and colors, and a full line of nail treatments and cuticle oils which we’ve selected the top 39 for our initial launch. Most of our ingredients are from Europe, our brushes from Spain, our bottle glass from Italy, which is all then manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in the USA. Extensive quality control checkpoints during and after the manufacturing process ensure the best quality available. All components are imported from Europe or manufactured in the United States. We adhere to US, European Union and Canadian standards for cosmetics and measurement.
3 Free "Its important to all of us"
I try to take care of my family and myself by making sure we are eating properly, getting exercise, sleeping enough and generally trying to live a happy life. When I embarked on Cheeky Monkey Cosmetics I was adamant that my products would be of high quality and not harmful to myself or others. We searched high and low to find a nail product that was free of the big three. These 3 products are Formaldehyde, Toluene and Dibutyle Phthalate or DBP for short. These 3 ingredients have been very controversial and have been linked to some health threats.
Formaldehyde helps harden nails. Toluene is a colourless liquid used as a solvent. And It's also a cheap preservative used in shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and children's bubble bath. DBP 'dibutyl phthalate' is a plasticizer that makes nail polish flexible.
I looked on the Skin Deep database and found that Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP have the same high hazard score of 10. The hazard score is on 0 - 10 scale, (10 corresponding with the highest concern). These ingredients are linked to cancer, developmental/reproductive toxicity and allergies (visit this website for details). Nail polish is worn on dead cells (the actual nail) but it is next to living cells. (the cuticle and skin) It’s important to know you are wearing a safe product. If you get your nails done at the local spa or salon make sure their products are safe or better yet bring your own nail polish, Cheeky Monkey brand of course. Also make sure the salon or spa has good ventilation.
